Classic Coconut Jam

"Kaya," the Malaysian word for coconut jam, means "rich," which is a perfect description for this sweet, creamy, luscious spread. Kaya is made mainly from coconut milk, and is traditionally served with bread, but also goes well with waffles, pancakes, crepes, and as a topping for ice cream.
