Azalina's Hokkien Mee Sauce 1🔥Sambal
Made from seven types of roasted chilies — spicy, bold, vegan
Recipe: Sambal-Glazed Shrimp Skewers
Marinade: 2 Tbsp sambal + 1 Tbsp honey + 1 Tbsp lime juice.
Method: Toss ½ lb shrimp in marinade, skewer and grill 2–3 min per side.
Serve: With cilantro, lime wedges, and a yogurt dip.
🍯🌶 Sweet Chili Sambal
Bright, tangy heat with natural sweetness. Ideal for wings, glazes, or veggie roasts.
Recipe: Sweet Chili Sambal Chicken Wings
Sauce: ¼ cup sweet chili sambal, 1 Tbsp soy sauce, 1 tsp rice vinegar
Method: Bake or air-fry wings, then toss in warm sauce
Serve: Garnished with sesame seeds and scallions
🫘Sambal Black Bean Sauce
Savory and rich with fermented black beans and roasted chili depth.
Recipe: Black Bean Sambal Stir-Fried Cauliflower Bites
Method: Sauté cauliflower florets until browned and tender

🍜Sambal Tumis
Fragrant and layered, with lemongrass, tamarind, and caramelized shallots. Perfect for soups or pastas.
Recipe: Sambal Tumis Coconut Curry Seafood Soup
Base: Sauté onion, garlic, and ginger
Simmer: Stir in 3 Tbsp sambal tumis, 1 cup coconut milk, and broth
